Event Notes

Prize list Increases to $200/ 7 places, when at least 30 riders are preregistered in that particular race. Day of race registration $5 extra. American Bicycle Racing license required, $5 one day, $25 yearly, good through 2015. Second race $15.

Course is 1.8 miles,
hard and fast, mainly double track and some single track sprinkled in, with elevation changes and a power climb along  Rock Creek which flattens off around a right turn for a quick rest before false flatting into a grind up to the mud pit. There it turns downhill where bike handling and technical skills will be tested on quick turns, roots and rocks. Another right then left brings racers into the first dismount, break on through to the otherside of the pines and you will be speeding along a gradual descent into a high speed right, then get on the gas for the short rise heading for a right turn, which transitions into a sweeping left for a gallop over the barriers. Quickly remount and crack a right towards the archery range, swoop left, then right, then left, another left then it's a long line of chicanes and a big sweeping right down the home stretch. I am still leaving out quite a bit but this should give a little taste of what to expect. Very wide with good passing, very scenic and picturesque.

There are firepits if needed and a pavilion. Handups, handdowns, handoffs, and heckling are all encouraged just be respectful. Next Level Brewers will be present passing out some of their fine craft beer COMPLIMENTARY, be sure to show them some love!

This is a race where as the entry list grows so will the prize list! I would like to see places paid 20 deep and random raffles, with 100 rider fields, the racers can make it happen, get pre regged. Spread the good news.

Bring your grills and coolers! There are spots for team tents as well.
