2011 Chicago Winter Bike Swap is set for Saturday, January 22 inside Building M, Harper College, 1200 W. Algonqiun Rd, Palatine, IL. Doors open from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Adult admission $5 - Kids 12 and under FREE. Huge FREE parking lot (lot 1 & 2) next to the entrance to Building M. Inside waiting area, no standing in the cold waiting for the doors to open. Cash is King, don't count on all vendors accepting credit or debit cards, there is an ATM machine available for extracting cash (at least until it is empty). Vendors register online or by mail ASAP spaces available from 5'x6' to 30'x20'. Individuals selling one bike can get a Singles Swap tag to sell their bike in the Singles swap section, just bring your bike to the entrance and pay the small fee. Food concession provided by Harper College. Renew your ABR membership for $20 at the ABR booth (thats a $5 discount just for coming to the swap). Working Bikes Cooperative will be accepting bicycle donations for their great cause.
