American Bicycle Racing
Southeastway Park Training Series

This is a hard fast weekly criterium type race on a .6 mile loop through a city park. The race is run as an open format with all ABR licensed categories together. The race pace is usually very fast with breaks continually trying to get away. Anyone who is dropped from the pack has the option of sitting up and jumping back in when the pack comes by as long as they do not contest any remaining primes or the finish.

Where: From the I465 loop around Indy, take I-74 southwest to the Action Rd. exit. Go Left, under the highway to the T. Go right at T for approximately 1 mile to another T. Go left at this T approximately 1 mile to Southeastway Park which will be on your left. Enter the park and follow the road around the back loop of the park and look for all the bikes.

When: The race begins at 6:00pm every Tuesday evening beginning April 13, 2004 through August 31, 2004. Racers start showing up around 5:00pm to warm up.

Fees: The entry fee for the race is $5, and I try to scrounge up enough cash or merchandise for the first 4 or 5 places. A valid ABR license is required!
